PB, Faster, that flower on an Ontario cove stripe is a trillium.
The trillium is the provincial flower of Ontario and the symbol of the Ontario government.
The government of Ontario is in the 8th year under Liberal rule.

.... PB has now gone to buy paint to paint over his cove stripe.

It didn't look like this did it? Yamaha 29, one of very few center cockpit boats this size and quite unique looking.

The center cockpit aspect of this equation is what is stumping me.

The Yamaha above is about as "center" cockpit as it gets.

Mitiempo, you might be onto something. If you have lousy eyesight, THIS...

could look like a flower.

I'm not sure about the flower, don't think I have ever seen one on a sailboat - at least from the builder.

It was the center cockpit that reminded me of the Yamaha 29. It didn't sell well and most can see why.

The Yamaha 30 aft cockpit was much more popular, at least on this coast.

I have never seen a yamaha on this coast.

What a weird layout.

You're on a coast?

You're right about that. Solves the problem of running halyards and reefing lines aft though.
