Pearson 39 info sought

I''m looking at a 1971 Pearson 39 centerboard sloop. Anyone care to comment on their sailing characteristics? They''re good points? They''re bad points? Commom problems found with this model boat?
Thanks in advance for any information.
Cliff

Cliff,

I know a fellow here on the Chesapeake who owns a P-39 of that era. Email me directly and I''ll send you his email address. (I just did that for someone else a few weeks ago.....was it you?)

Thanks Mitch!

Even after a bit at the PC I''ve not been able to find much info on the P39''s. I''ve sent you an e-mail but I might be having problems with my server.

I can be reached directly at;

Thanks again. I look forward to hearing your fiends comments.

Cliff
