Does anyone on the board own an amel or have seen one and have an opinion about the
Sea worthiness and systems on the boat.
The quality of construction and the ease of use of the boat. What is your opinion overall about the boat as a live aboard for a couple. The ability to handle severe weather and comfort.
I am looking at the super maramu.

I have yet to see one, but I''ve read a few owner reviews in the "Boat Check" section of this website.

Apparently, they''re excellent Blue-water boats, and designed to be single-handed if need be.

I''m pretty sure that Kimberlite, who posts on this board occasionally, owns a Super Maramu. You might be able to contact her <em>via</em> her personal page, if she has one, or find a post of hers and check to see if she''s including an e-mail address along with her posts. Good luck.

Just FYI, Kimberlite is the name of "his" boat, and "his" name is Eric.
