Well "survey" values rarely have any relevance as to what you can sell a boat for, but more for what you will get out of the insurance company if it is a total loss. Just like an appraisal value on a house is not going to be accurate as far as the price it will sell for. That survey price seems quite high, but could well be an indicator that it is a good boat and if the rest of that survey was good, and your current survey looks good, then yes it sounds like a good deal. They look like they have a lot of room below for a 27 footer, as much as many 30 footers. It sure is a buyer's market out there. There does not seem to be much interest out there in smaller boats like this either.
