Bristol 34 visit possible?

I've gotten some very good advice that a Bristol 34 would be a very good choice for my particular circumstances. Unfortunately, I've never been inside of one, nor even seen one from the outside.

Does anyone know of a Bristol 34 in New England that I could actually see and, hopefully, talk to the owners?

Thanks in advance
Tanksalot

You might try posting this on the Yahoo Bristol forum :

I've applied weeks ago to the Yahoo group.

Re: Bristol 34 visit possible?

To which group? This has been a longstanding problem. There is a Yahoo group, BristolYachts, which never responds to requests for membership. (18 months now for me, and counting) Then there is BristolBoatOwners, the one I linked to, which normally is very responsive.

I hope it was the former you had the problem with.

Re: Bristol 34 visit possible?

I HAD applied to Bristolyachts and am facing the same "cold shoulder". Apparently the group manager feels the group is better off with fewer members.

Thanks for the clarification. My application to bristolboatowners is pending.
