Can anyone comment from experience on a (Ranger) R-21? I can''t find any info, and there is one for sale that I''m interested in

I did not think that there was such a thing as a Ranger 21. There was a Ranger 22 which was an IOR Mini-tonner and not much of a boat, a Ranger 23 which was a very nice weekender, and a Ranger FUN which was a high performance racer/daysailor.

You may be right. I found a Ranger in SW Florida that is being listed by owner as a 1986 "R-21". It is a 22 foot boat, however. Is he perhaps wrong about the model designation? And, you say the 22 footer was not much of a boat?
