I'm a multihull owner!

I went four months this year without a boat... and that was enough. After selling my O'day 27 in March I became the owner of a 30' Iroquois MK II catamaran, Cheers, in July. I have two little kids and roominess, speed, and flatness of a multihull were impossible to turn down.

Launched in late August and I've been sailing twice so far. Compared to what I'm used to, man she is fast... hit 7 knots beating to windward towing a dinghy in about 12 knots of wind. Points better than I expected too. And of course it's a GOB so I have a lengthy list of projects. I'll post some pictures soon.

Re: I'm a multihull owner!

Congrats on the new boat! Sounds like a great upgrade. I look forward to the pics and please keep us updated regarding the differences and adjustments going from a monohull to a multi. Cheers
