Boat Idenification Help

I came across this boat for sale in a thrift store. The store didn't know what the make and model is. The title said it was manufactured in 1986. Any body know what it is?

If it was manufactured in 1986 it should have the Hull Identification (HIN) number molded into the gelcoat on the upper right transom. The letters in the first part of the HIN number should give you a clue as to the manufacturer, then googling that manufacturer's boat models in that length should zero you in on the boat you're looking at. Unless of course someone here on sailnet knows it on sight . . . which is very likely.

I looked for that. I couldn't find it. It wasn't on the transom anyway. I did take a picture of the title though. It had a manufactures ID. The make only said PINT.

looks like a Nomad by Geoff Prindle made by Surfglass in So. Cal

would not pay for this boat if it does not have sails. might be worth $ 400 with trailer, used sails will be hard to find.

500 was the number that first popped in my head when I saw it. It's a solid boat but it would need new sails and most if not all the running rigging replaced. That makes it 1500 plus the boat cost just to get it in the water.
