Tartan height

For the purpose of transporting on a truck, does anyone know the height of a 1982 Tartan 40ft with six foot draft?

Re: Tartan height

You can subtract the sum of the sailrig dimension P + distance of the boom from the cabintop from the bridge clearance height and add 6 feet.

Sailboatdata.com FTW!

Not knowing which model you have exactly there are 6 different ones to choose from. Check each one out and see which drawing matches your boat.

PS: After looking at the date of manufacture of your OP it could only be a TARTAN 40 OFFSHORE

Re: Tartan height

All the figures are on the web, except the boom height off cabintop - probably in the neighborhood of 3':

Example, for an '84 Tartan 40: P = 45' + 3' - 56' bridge clearance = 8' + 6' = 14'

Is yours an '82 Offshore 40 Ketch?
