Any info/opinions/reviews/specs on 1987 Pearson 31 for Lake Michigan? Intended use: daysailing (often single-handed), cruising (2 adults + 2 kids, 3-to-7-day trips) and lake crossings. Interested in performance, design quality, construction quality, handling, seaworthiness, seakindliness, safety.

OK, has anyone out there simply been on a Pearson 31-2 (1987-91)?

Excellent boat with true dual purpose capability: cruising/racing. Simple rig setup. Very easy to singlehand, and a competitive club racer when tweaked.
