Beachcomber 25 ??

Anyone aboard have one, had one; or has been on one, that can give me an idea of what one is like ? Pix are OK; but someone actually experiencing the spacial feel will absolutely know what one's like.

Looking at one just listed near the bottom of the E. Shore of MD. Quite a ways ta go just to look at one. The brochure states that Walt Scott "did not concentrate on full standing headroom, but to retain the graceful curves and lines"....Hmmmmm? How tall *was* ol' Walt?? LOL

Other than the obvious sailplan. are there any quirks a prospective buyer should know? I've mailed the current owner and asked a few questions; but would prefer to be better informed if i get into a flurry of mails with the fella

TIA,
Paul

You're probably familiar with this site:

BEACHCOMBER 25 sailboat specifications and details on sailboatdata.com

Pretty boat. I'm guessing they're fairly rare, hopefully an owner will chime in...

Re: Beachcomber 25 ??

Yes, Faster...already printed out and saved that page's info. Also found several ads and a site or two showing some really pretty pix One respondent said the the interior feels more like a 27 footer! Ohh-kayy!I *do* hope some one on herecan gime some first-hand perspective.
The BC 25 is slightly smaller than what I believe I want/need.......but the trailer option and ease of handling *may* counter that. TBD

Thanx,
Paul
