Bristol 35.5'''' and yeh maybe others

I go through this every now and then. Presently I have a 30'' pilot boat, had a 34'' Charlie Morgan Columbia for fifteen years, but can''t completely tear myself away from the idea of a Bristol 35.5, and yes the 38.8.
Though both are old boats and the 38.8 is twice the price of the 35.5 without any real difference in layout...only bigger I keep coming back to the 35.5'' with fixed keel.Should I be looking at other designs like the 41 Jeanneau Sun Legende or the Crealock 37, or maybe the Shannon 38?
Unfortunately I think I need about four different boats to satisfy all of my boating desires. I am a hopless boat whore.
Any boat, anytime, John Gov.

Bristol 35.5

I owned and cruised a 1980 Bristol 35.5 for three years. Made the mistake of selling it. I really liked its sailing performance, looks and quality. Have you checked out the Practical Sailing review on the 35.5?

Hard to beat the 35.5. If you like it, why go for anything else? Of course, you'll need a little something on the side, as you say. You slut.
