Roughwater 33
Anyone know much about these? I can't find a lot about them except their real cheap to buy. Never owned a double ender. But with no wheel a lot less to go wrong. More teak then my Downeast had. Never had a teak deck so I'm really not sure if I'm getting in over my head.

Pretty boat (image courtesy

Taiwan built so depending on when and exactly by who may be some general deck/port leak issues.. a screwed-down old teak deck is always a cause for concern. Try to find out if the deck is molded or glass-over-ply.

What's the intended use? I suspect she'd be a tad frustrating for light air weekending type sailing...

Re: Roughwater 33
Yea,I had a Downeast 32 and my fellow dock-mates called it the greased brick so I know being another full keel it will be a slug. I DON'T want a bolt on keel so I am looking at a happy medium between that and that. From the pictures sent to me it looks real bad. The marina manager sent me pictures that were taken days ago and not what the broker has posted taken 10 years ago of the same boat for sale. WOW!!
Input from others is always a good thing.
