Used boat review

Hi all,

Happy NEW YEAR

Lost my Morgan 30 to SANDY and I am re-searching for a boat to replace her.

I currently am reviewing:

1997 - 1999 Hunter 340 Love the layout

1985 Catalina 36

Anyone with any personal sailing experience and there thoughts with these vessels would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Bill

Re: Used boat review

Plenty of reviews on the net and in magazines for those boats. Just use google to find them.

Re: Used boat review

If you are looking at a C36, take a look at C-34's as well. Same beam and only 1' shorter. it has a completely different layout than the 36 that appeals more to some.

I have some time on an H 340. It was very comfortable but pretty slow. Its PHRF of 156 backs that up - a decent 34 footer should be in the 120's to 130's.

I, myself, personally intend to continue being outspoken and opinionated, intolerant of all fanatics, fools and ignoramuses, deeply suspicious of all those who have "found the answer" and on my bad days, downright rude.
