Ranger 37

Hi,
Around my area - Hawaii - there is a Ranger 37 with a cruising setup at a nice price for what I can tell. I am thinking about sailing her for 2-3 years locally, grin my teeth and at the same time, outfit her for the South Pacific cruising.
I have looked around all threads I could find on those kind of boat, and did not find anything too negative, or too positive either, that would discourage me to investigate further. I like the low price that would allow me to equip her properly with safety gear and needed other pieces (windvane etc..).
Any opinions ? If something would have to be changed-verified on those boats for offshore use, what should it be ?

Always admired those boats. The bubble deck styling is so sleek. They are a fairly small 37' - they were a One Tonner IIRC where most were 34' - 35'. Mull's IOR boats were always longer than most.

They are short on tankage as well as anywhere to put more I believe.
