Sounds like you bought from the kind of owner that we're all looking for. Congratulations!

To the OP, you may not realize how great of a boat you now own till you cross an ocean in her. She will outlast all of us and best of all I bet you paid cash meaning you actually own her.

Congratulations! I remember the other thread. Very excited for you - she looks like a fun boat. Can't wait to see more pictures of her, and you out sailing her!

Nice looking boat. I'm sure you're going to have a lot of fun on her. It's good to have bought from a good Previous Owner. Bonus is he's still nearby for any questions. Since he's had her for such a long time, I'm sure he still loves his little boat and would be happy to help you take care of it.

Congrats to you!

Salty and Traditional, in all of the best ways.
Lovely sheer!
Now that's a craft with a great "row away" factor...

From your description this was one of those rare "one percent boats". (Maybe half a percent...). In good times and bad, there will always be eager buyers for such craft because they are SO difficult to find.

Fair winds!!
