OK folks, a little help here.
We have sailed boats for 25 years, we now have a 30''pilot boat and I am thinking about the retirement sailboat. Maybe a Bristol 38.8., Gulfstar 44, Brewer 42, Gozzard, 42, Caliber, 38, Sabre 38, Beneteau, Oceanis 40, Delph 44, Grand Soleil 44, Nordic 40, Ericson 38, Reliance 44''.
I struggle with the ageand decrepity of some of these boats yet I am a bit afrad of the fancy French boats.
We plan to sail as we have along the New England coast and if we get the chance to sail South we would like to be able to do that. I need direction. Thanks,John Gov.

OK, Maybe if I sober up and put it into the form of a clear question. Of the boats mentioned the ones I''m curious to know more about are the Reliance 44, Nordic 40,Delph 44, and the Grand Soleil 40. These are all about 20 years old.
