jeanneau deck problem
You had emailed me about this and I sent back a reply but I did not realize that the boat previously had a teak deck. I do not know what Jeaneau''s practice was, but most manufacturers use plywood cores when they build a teak deck. If that is the case, the problem can be a lot worse than on a balsa cored deck since plywood tends to rot more quickly since the plys carry the moisture in all directions from a leak. Run, don''t walk, the other way from this boat.
