Cal 43 - Views?

I am interested in any information or views about the Cal 43. I have been unable to find very much information on this boat on the internet. Some very basic data is at sailboatdata.com. It is designed by Bill Lapworth and had a short production run - sounds like about 14 boats from about 1970-73. It is a very pretty early IOR design. There are three listed for sale on yachtworld.com at the moment. PHRF is 102-108. Anyone have any knowledge of its history, sailing qualities, build quality, maintenance issues, etc? Thanks for any info you can provide.
