Okay I have searched high and low and near and far and have heard very little if anything about these boats. However there is a freshwater l981 30 footer with a wheel that caught my eye.......What kind of boats are these???? I realize that they had a dissimiliar metal rudder issue as they age but that is pretty much all I found. So far the boat is around 6 bills in decent shape.......any comments would be kewl...awesome even........ Heavens to murgatroy....let her rip!!!!

It's the original boat from hell. We bought one for our sailing club back in the late '80's or early '90. We lost the rudder somewhere near Tilghman Island. The stupid thing just fell off. Jabin's had it most of the summer and they actually found Seidlemann and he still had the molds, so he made a new one. We finally get the boat back and we we're doing a little club racing on the West river. It was blowing pretty good that day but nothing outrageous. SNAP! CRACKLE! BOOM!... there's goes the mast! The lower port tang for the shroud gave way ( only one set of lowers ) and the mast broke in half and fell into the water. Luckily no one was hurt ( 3 or 4 guys on the rail at the time ).

Other than those minor annoyances, it's an ok boat.
