It's the original boat from hell. We bought one for our sailing club back in the late '80's or early '90. We lost the rudder somewhere near Tilghman Island. The stupid thing just fell off. Jabin's had it most of the summer and they actually found Seidlemann and he still had the molds, so he made a new one. We finally get the boat back and we we're doing a little club racing on the West river. It was blowing pretty good that day but nothing outrageous. SNAP! CRACKLE! BOOM!... there's goes the mast! The lower port tang for the shroud gave way ( only one set of lowers ) and the mast broke in half and fell into the water. Luckily no one was hurt ( 3 or 4 guys on the rail at the time ).
Other than those minor annoyances, it's an ok boat.
