any info on this boat would be appreciated. the big question is if it can handle blue water with safety and comfort. thanks. david.

Don't have one, but have been on several in remote places around the world--they can handle offshore weather and I wouldn't hesitate to take one around the world if it is in good condition.

Without a doubt. IMHO, maybe Bob Perry's best production cruiser. Drawbacks? Just be aware that these boats are now 20+ years old. You're into the realm of the boat maintenance factor now. Were the previous owners on top of it, or where they slackers? Of course the other option is to buy a new one:

Another affirmative.. there was one here in Vancouver that did a multi-year Pacific cruise with a young-ish family aboard. Great rep on these US built boats.
