.... just for reference there is an absolutely perfect Shannon for Sale in Annapolis.
Its about 77k and certainly you can buy alot of different boats with this money but for just an awsome 28 shannon thats perfect in every way, and money being not an issue, this would be the boat.

I just wish my shed was 4x the size, just collect awsome sailboats, rotate them in and out of the water as required. Simply they would just be expensive beer coasters to rest your beverages on during a Saturday night b.s session with the boys as you swap tales of the sea. ..... then when you croak, your kids would sell them off for half what you paid for them.

While guilty of following your advice (multiple times) it can be a very expensive mistake to "let your heart do the talking". Get someone that has NO emotional interest in the boat (generally you want to hire the surveyor that the broker doesn't want you to, they are usually the picky ones) to survey the heck out of it and if that doesn't turn up any serious issues, then let your heart go crazy.
Both boats are beautiful, no personal knowledge of either, although Shannon has been around for a long time with a reputation for quality.
