Re: Trailerable lake boat

I purchased a 22' Windrose for sailing in my local lake last year, and I have nothing but good things to say about the swing keel and ease of sailing this little sloop. It came with all of the sails (including a spinnaker, stormsail, and genoa) and a trailer, and the price was right so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy her.

Re: Trailerable lake boat

I just purchased a Clipper 23 .2 keels. Can launch it in almost zero water. Has anyone sailed with 2 keels?

Re: Trailerable lake boat

The OP hasn't been here since his six posts in 2011. I seriously doubt if he ever got into sailing at all with his wish list. He needed a fairy godmother.

Re: Trailerable lake boat

I'm sorry to hear that. How about yourself, have you ever sailed a twin keel boat?

I have a West Wight Potter 19. It floats in 6 inches with the board up, but you sure don't want to go anywhere with the sails up without the board down. I can motor into the ramp with the board up.

My 1976 Clipper 23 twin keel has that list whooped.
