Cape George Cutter 40

While I am a few years away from a "big boat" purchase.. I am already starting my research. I can find a lot of info one of the boats I like, but very little about the St Georges Cutters.

They seem like a nice design that appears to be both seakindly and roomy below decks. What does the hive mind say about these pretty little small ships?

These?

Cape George Cutters § Port Townsend § Blue Water Boats § Cruising Custom Boat Building

They seem to have a good reputation, but are definitely 'old school' designs, of course, with the attendant characteristics (and looks )

Re: Cape George Cutter 40

Ferenc Mate covered them in one of his books - Best Boats or Worlds Best Sailboats IIRC.

I, myself, personally intend to continue being outspoken and opinionated, intolerant of all fanatics, fools and ignoramuses, deeply suspicious of all those who have "found the answer" and on my bad days, downright rude.
