Mooring Equipment question

Regarding the following question posted on the Yahoo forum:

I saw an ad for a mushroom mooring, with the chain and ball and all.
The mushroom weighs 200lbs, not sure about the chain et all. Is a 200lbs mushroom mooring heavy enough to hold a Bristol 32? The mushroom would need to be in mud, correct? Any mooring equipment folks out there?

No, that is not sufficient to hold your boat. Unless you are mooring on a lake, (non-great lake).
