help with trailering a b-27
Any body have pictures of a b27 on a trailer?

Im trying to figure out where the fixed ports are in relation to the axles so i can figure out how much forward clearance i need on the bed.

B27 on Trailer

It helps out tremendously! I was actually trying to determine the measurement from the centerline of the axles forward to the bow to help determine what the minimum length trailer I need to go get mine on the coast.

Its a very pretty boat!

On mine, it's fifteen feet 4 inches.

But, what is more important is the center of weight compared to the length to the hitch. This determins how much weight will be on the hitch. The longer your trailer is (center of weight point or center between axles to the hitch) the less the weight will be on the hitch. Think of it being like a lever.... the longer the handle on the lever the less force is needed.
I'm loaded a little foreward of center because my trailer is pretty long.

You want the weight on the ball to be close to 500 lbs. Anyway on my truck, that's about where the big springs start to kick in and the truck rides best.

Oh.... and yes, she is pretty .... but even pretier in the water :)

yes she is! appreciate the measurements. I found a car hauler that should work, although the bow will overhang the bed of the truck a bit. Looks like i should have the clearance. so off to virginia to pick her up thursday morning!

exciting stuff
