Looking to run antenia coaxal

I have a 1976 Bristol 30.Trying to run coaxal from mast step in cabin ceiling.

You need a bulkhead fitting, a 2 to 3" long piece of double-female UHF connector (SO-239 to SO239) that gets bedded and bolted through the deck. Then you simply plug in a UHF male cable (PL-259) topside, and another separate one below. Use dielectric grease inside, and butyl seal or coaxseal outside, to ensure waterproof connections.

Not to start a fight ... why don't you use a cable from the radio through the bulkhead fitting and at the mast connect to the mast coaxial cable with a male/female connector there - saves a connector set ????
