Heavy vs Light Displacement

What view did you come to and why?</P><P>Ian Penrose</P><P><STRONG>Sue and Larry respond</STRONG>:</P><P>Dear Ian, </P><P>It is our view that most moderate to light displacement cruising boats built today are constructed using technology that many "crusty old sea captains" simply fail to grasp. Things in life evolve, and many of the world's top boat builders and designers work together to build good, safe, and more fun to sail boats.</P><P>Our experience in our last boat, a Beneteau 46, was only positive.
