This is a long-distance sale that is pending a survey, so you can see my hesitation. If you have any information for me I would appreciate it? By the way, I sold my old boat on your site in a matter of days.

I'm glad to learn that BoatSearch did the trick for you as a seller. Regarding Punta Gorda Yacht Sailes, I never worked directly with them during my days as a broker, but I do know that they have a good reputation. (That's recently been confirmed by my Dad, who just happens to live in Punta Gorda.)
Remember that the key to a successful, long-distance transaction is to work with the best surveyor you can find. Boatyards are usually strong sources for surveyor referrals. (You might want to give Joe Pocklington, the service manager at Gasparilla Marina a call. He should be able to give you a top-notch referral for someone in that area.)
If possible, you should be present at the survey. Remember, you need to give the surveyor room to do his or her job, but afterward they will be able to show you their findings and in the process introduce you to some useful information about the vessel that may become your 'new' pride and joy.
