replacement boat

Greetings- Hurricane Ivan beat up our beloved Nicholson 32. We have cruised and lived aboard her for years, and now need to find a replacement. We were thinking of going bigger, somewhere between 34 and 40 ft. We need a mast height above the water of 48'' or less. We would like to reduce the draft to 5 ft or less. I prefer a full keel, but would not rule out another keel design. We like the "saltiness" and durability of English boats. I would insist on the ability to have a manual windlass on deck easily fitted. Our budget will limit us to 50k or under. I can repair or upgrade anything myself. Any suggestions to start looking for? My initial thoughts were towards an Allied 36 ketch, or a Pearson 365. A Hallberg Rassy Rasmus 35? Thanks for any thoughts...
