Yorktown 39'''' Sloop

I am considering buying a 1976 Yorktown 39 foot, center cockpit sloop. Honestly I dont know much about the breed and it seems information on the internet is scarce. Does anyone have experience with the Yorktowns or know where I might dig up more
info?

Thanks

Yorktown 39'''' Sloop

My family built a 35 yorktown in the seventies and lived aboard for 15 years. Big boats and plenty of room. Ours was very stable at sea and built like a tank. Because they are built mainly by owner they can vary greatly from boat to boat. What is the name of the boat in question, I may have even known the people who built it. It was a tight group of people building these boats back in the day.

Jerrid322 and I have purchased the 1976 Yorktown, its original name was Montavisco, then they renamed it Blue Dolphin, We bought it in November, and changed the name of it to Lone Star. It was original in CA.
