Saga

I am real interested in the Saga (40) built in Canada. I would love some information on these boats from dealers, owners or anyone who might have the scoop on that company and boat.

If you are interested in the new 409, that''s a new model from a different designer and represents in some ways a departure for Saga. Not seen one yet other than the drawings. I''m familiar with the Saga 43 having done some races on one, one a week long, and spent a little time on the same boat cruising the Sea of Cortez. It was interesting to note the emphasis on stability in the write-up on the new 409. The 43 has a narrow waterline beam and is quite tender.

Saga used to have an owners page on their site - took a quick look but didn''t see it. With a website search you should be able to contact owners who can give you the best information about the company.
