Jeff_H will become famous soon enough
Coranado 30

They were inexpensively built boats from the 1960''s and 70''s. Think of them as Hunters of their day. They were built to be reasonable preformers that could be bought at a reasonable price. Although heavy in weight they were not especially sturdy or well assembled. They offer a lot of room for teh dollar but they sell cheaply no matter how well maintained that they are so don''t buy one as a fixer upper because you would be way ahead to buy a better boat in good shape even if it cost a little more.

Areas to watch for is the keel bolts, standing rigging, electrical systems, hull deck joints, inboard gas engine, deck problems, hardware problems, galley equipment and sail condition. Any combination of these items can cost far more than the boat will ever be worth.

Respectfully
Jeff
