hanse 370 epoxy-series

hi

i would like to hear any negative comments from owners, people who have sailed on , or even people with informed or uninformed opinions on Hanse 370 epoxy series. (i am not trying to re-iterate the general epoxy and lead keel threads, more specifically interested in problems with this particular boat).

less useful, but still interesting, would be positive comments.

thanks much in advance again

cheers!

I have a Hanse 540 and have had no problems with the epoxy hull. I have owned the boat for a year and have sailed about 4,500nm. One of the reasons I purchased a hanse was because of the epoxy hull and I have not been disapointed so far.

I have a 2006 HAnse 370e, hull #9, and absolutely love my boat. This is my 5th sailboat, including 13 years as a Pearson owner. The hull is very stiff and strong and I'm glad that I chose the "e" option.

Hi

thanks for the respnses.

we did end up buying the hanse 370e about a week ago. two years old. we've already had her out for a few days (anchored at Winter Cove in the BC gulf islands) for a shake down mini-cruise. we are very happy with her. she had a lot of bells and whistles when we bought her (probably more that we would have ordered if buying new). planning a few modifications, but nothing major.

cheers

ARRRRRRRG!

e goes to the competition! I do have to admit, that Hanse is a bunch nicer than a Jeanneau!

Have you sold the Attalia yet? or trade it in in some way shape or form?

I've looked at the Hanse 370's online, and they look to be really nice boats. Congrats!! (Hanse and Gretel....that is bad!)

No, I took it off of a vette that was in the Everett marina when we moored our boat there initially, ie it should be "I drives me boat, she drive me dinghy". As far as an SUV goes, do have one of them, but Wash plates, not to mention my pickumup, but one might be able to figure out whom I am by my plates too, so with that in mind....... Glad to know you have a new rig. Let the new owner also know about the www.jeanneau-owners.com site too.

Would like to know how you like the boat in a yr or two, spouse does like the few Hanse's that have been down here to the Seattle show's. Altho bigger than we would like. The 350 or 370 would be 1st and 2nd choice. Possibly the 320 too.
