We are also looking at buying a Rhodes 22. The boat is a 1974 vintage but appears to be complete and in good condition. This would be our first sailboat and thought an older boat might be a good idea until we are sure that sailing is for us. Does anyone know if a Rhodes this old has any inherent drawbacks that might not be readily evident. The hull appears to have the same basic
lines as the newer ones we have seen. Any comments?
