Is 69k too much for a clean Morgan 41?

I want to sell the pig in three years but need to live on it now. It''s in very good shape, new generator, rebuilt perkins, clean top and bottom.

My only concern is that I be able to sell it for a similar price in three to four years.

It a great extent it depends on the year of the boat and its condition. Early Morgan OI 41''s tend to have hull to deck joint problems, rot behind the formica and loose bulkheads. Late 1970''s and early to mid-1980''s era OI 41''s tend to have really bad blisters. If you found a newer one that really is in good shape, then it could be worth every bit of $69,000 and then some, but if you have found an older one perhaps with hidden defects, it is harder to say what the boat is worth.
