We are looking at a Watkins 27''. Can anyone tell us about this type of sailboat?

I currently sail a 1981 O''Day 25'' sloop-and am very pleased! sails well in light air and actually performs in heavier. Good cabin layout-much room and storage but little head room. Hull remains in excellent shape-no blisters, doesnt accept dings, yearly waxing takes care of it. Sleeps 5, but 2-3 is better. 15 hsp merc pushes with power to spare (''cept for Ocean City inlet). Watch for fresh water intrusion through deck and pilot house fittings. Swing keel is great for Chesapeake, 2 1/2'' draft when up (take care tho- this allows the rudder to "find the bottom" first.
