Mason 43

Looking at a ''86 Mason 43''Cutter. I sail out of S.Cal and mostly coastal cruise. I am looking to move up from my Catalina 30 and in order to stay in my budget I am considering an older "bluewater" boat vs. a newer "coastal cruiser" (Catalina,Beneteau,Hunter). However I hate to buy something that might turn into a maintinance money pit.
