Beneteau Moorings 38?

We're looking at a 1990 Beneteau Moorings 38...Yes, we know it was a charter boat in a former life....

Can anyone tell me if this is the same boat as a Beneteau First 38 with a shorter (shoal draft) keel and mast and modified interior? Any comments on this boat?

We're having difficutly finding ANY information on this boat on the web, including the Beneteau owners website.

I believe it is the First 38s5 with the shoal keel and short rig and a few other mods as well. The 38s5 looks like a well built boat with a rather odd interior layout, more style than function IMO. The M38 might have a somewhat better layout but I haven't been on one.
