Aluminum hull

Hello,I am looking at a used boat with an aluminum hull. Are there any major issues I should be concerned about?
The broker says they have done a survey and there are no corrosion or flexation problems.
Any comments ?Advice?

Main problem with aluminum boats is galvanic corrosion or stray current leaks eroding the hull. There have been horror stories about current leaks at marinas with aluminum hulled boats where the aluminum was eaten to a thickness not safe for use as a boat hull.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Al can be ok. You just have to be watchful for the problems that SD mentioned. The material of choice for the USCG these days is Al. Give us some more info and oics if you can.
