"Another Miracle" to arrive tomorrow!!!

She should pull into the dealer tomorrow morning some time. Now all I need to do is find a way to push my work aside so that I can run out to Haverstraw to see her. I'm more excited than a 5 year old kid on X-Mas morning! I'll post some pix over the weekend.

The dealer needs about two weeks to prep and commission her, as well as to install some equipment. Hopefully we'll pull away from the dock on August 15 or so. The whole thing happened so fast once we decided which boat we wanted, and I can hardly believe that in two weeks we'll be sailing a brand spanking new boat.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Wow! That IS exciting! Happy sailing. If you tell your boss you are having "gastrointestinal issues" they usually don't ask too many questions. I'm just sayin'...

Aaaahhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dealer just called. The truck had trouble with the trailer, and the boat hasn't been able to leave yet. She now should be here Wednesday next week instead of tomorrow because they can't travel certain parts of the trip over the weekend due to the over-sized load, they were unable to find a substitute truck available to leave today, blah, blah, blah. Well beyond disappointing.

Cam, yup, Great Hudson. Small world. Who did you deal with there, out of curiosity?

SD and HoneyDew, the problem is not getting "approval" to be out (that's really just up to me), but I actually have work I need to get done in order to pay for this thing!

Now I have to figure out what I'm going to do this weekend, as I won't be staring starry-eyed up at a boat on the hard in West Haverstraw.

Red face Soon and very soon...

The "hurry up and wait" syndrome isn't at all fun. Good luck as you chomp on the bit.

You'll just be staring starry eyed at an empty space in the boat yard

Another Miracle?

I'm excited for you and I don't even know what "Another Miracle" is. If you hadn't mentioned the truck I may have thought your wife was expecting. What kind of boat did you settle on? Congrats
