Smile My perfect liveaboard/racer

Ok, so here's the scenario.

I'm an experienced racer, looking for a live-aboard, and I'm looking for the perfect balance between something that will provide enough creature comforts along with speed for the weekend regattas. I've basically narrowed my searches to most C&C and Beneteau's with a few J cruising boats mixed in. Just wondering if anyone had any experiences or advice they would like to share. I'm open to almost anything, and I really really want to avoid pompous trolls on my thread, so if you are here to start an argument - end of thread. Please advise.

Intended boat size/budget would help target any suggestions!

Afedele-

The more information you can give us, the better and more specific a recommendation we can make. Saying that you've narrowed your search to C&C, Beneteau and a few J/boats... limits it to boats from about 25' to 50' or so.

What boats have you sailed? What boats do you like? What boats do you dislike? What is your budget? What is your boat size range??

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
