My previous boat was a Morgan 32 - hull #1. I spent 7 years living aboard and doing a lot of sailing. The biggest cruise was a round trip to Hawaii and back from San Francisco. At times we took a good beating on the return trip and she handled it just fine.
One weakness is the steering system. For some reason they chose to use a lame system of running the steering cables through conduit instead of keeping it open around sheaves. This conduit system was gummed up and added a horrible amount of friction to the system. I pulled those out, got some proper sheaves from
Edson and all of a sudden the steering felt like I was on a J Boat by comparison. Big job - but well worth it.
The one you are looking at has the shallow draft keel - as mine did. When sailing upwind I always wished I had the deeper draft version. If you don't have to have a shallow draft boat, you might want to consider that. Otherwise the one you are looking at seems sweet from the pictures. I would pull out those electric cooking appliances and put in a proper propane
stove/
oven.
