Any comments or feedback on this boat?

I know of the issue of the fuel tank. Not sure how I'd deal with that but it seems like a pretty big deal.

Anything else?

Xort...the E42 fuel tank is not a deal killer...just a fewgrand in $$ and time to deal with if it hasn't been done already. You can account for that in any negotiations. Overall I would say that it is a modestly built, modestly performing cruiser with super interior room and storage and tankage for cruising and living aboard and a good value. Construction is no better or worse than other production boats of the time. If i recall correctly it has an encapsulated keel...so no keel bolts to worry about...but you need to insure the integrity of the capsule at survey as water ingress can be an expensive problem. I have friends that have owned one for years and cruised East Coast through Bahamas without any cause to regret their purchase.
One in good shape would be good for coastal and caribe but I would not include this in my list of blue water cruisers. Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks, that helps. I have no plans for offshore sailing.

One small nagging area of concern is the teak toerail. That strikes me as a constant maintenance hassle. The stantions are bolted through them. Nothing structural but just a pain to keep looking good. I expect that the varnish would start to peal around the stantion bases and then you'd need to strip & redo.

Xort...at the risk of starting a 600 post thread...Cetol Natural + Cetol Gloss = Very Good (not excellent) looks and very low and easy maintenance. I have a nice big toe rail too!

Are your stantions mounted to the teak toe rails? That is what really seems problematic. I would think the cetaol would lift around the edge of the bases unless you take them off & coat under them.

I took them off and did it right the first time. Now I just touch up with gloss...no need to take 'em off and absolutley NO peeling like varnish. Cetol simply wears and gets "thinner" ...it does not lift in layers. No sanding after the first time. Just rough it up with a scotch brite pad and slop more gloss on. As you can see...my stanthions mount to both my toe rail and my deck.

Can't comment on the boat itself, but I have seen quite a few Endeavours as I've traveled.
