HI!
i CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A NEWER LARGER SAIL BOAT STEPPING UP FROM A 32 ENDERVOR, LOOKING AT A 38 ERICSON. "Q" THIS BOAT HAS A BLUE HULL DID ERICSON PRODUCE A BULE OR IS IT A PAINT? THE POWER IS A UNIVERSAL, ANY GOOD?

I'm also looking at a 38 ericson and am not familiar with it. How did you decide on a Ericson . How does it compare to a catalina 36 or an islander? I am concerned that the ericson's are no longer made..

We just looked an Ericson 38 today. Seemed very solid and appealing below. We are looking for a cruiser/racer (racer/cruiser) for coastal cruising and weekend regattas...Moving up from a 1970 C&C 35. We're also looking at Cal 39's, O'Day 39's, Beneteau First 37.5's, and Beneteau First 38's.

Just because a boat is no longer made does not mean it is not a good or even excellent quality boat (just an opinion).
