Interesting boat, whaddya think?

Just out of curiosity, what do you guys think about this boat? It's certainly a bit off the beaten path. I took a quick look at it the other day after looking at a Moody the same broker had listed nearby. It was supposedly built by a guy after he circumnavigated on a Swan with the idea of giving him access to all the shallow spots he had to pass by.

At over 13' wide...you can't really trailer it.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

It looks like a great boat to me. Very nice lines. Looks in good shape. One concern may be the CB trunk. Is it strong enough. Doesn't appear exceptionally sturdy in the pic but that doesn't mean anything.

Definitely a good cruising design. A little on the light side, but that's not too bad a thing. Says that the ballast is bonded into the hul. Can you access it ??? If not - bad thing.

I like the split rig on a boat that size. Go for it.

Funny, I immediately recognized the design of the centerboard. CapnRon47 just bought an Holby Clearwater 35 4 weeks ago. Both are designd by Craig Walter's. See tread of CapnRon47 "My experience".

Enjoy

Looks like a nice coastal cruiser or liveaboard, not really a boat that I would want to take offshore. While I am a fan of keel centerboard boats, this kind of big dinghy isn't my cup of tea. Also appears to be a cold molded wooden hull and so you will need a surveyor who is familiar with wooden construction.

The below decks layout is not as friendly as most 35 foot boats and with that underbody my guess is that she would sail like a 55-gallon drum with a stick in the top. Don't go offshore.
