That's a Koralle, an older German sailing dinghy. I think it also goes by the name Kolibri.

Sail logo matches, hull doesn't match the Op's picture. No surprize really, my homebuilt 10 ft sailing dinghy uses a Sidewinder sail I bought at Bacons.

Thanks folks. That PDF is pretty cool

I think I am going with the Hobie 16, should be good in our 48 degree water

The owner is willing to meet me about halfway, put it in the water, give me a run down on it, and a sea (lake) trial. Good thing I have a thick wetsuit for the bay.

My step dad taught me to sail on one of those! Fun boat from what I remember from age 11 and 12.

Not a lot of those here in the states either. Boatworks did a redo of one of them about 2 yrs ago. The description of what they had to fix, reminded me of a few fix's my step-dad did to his, kinda makes me wonder of one and the same boat.
