Looking for info on the Freya 39
Looking for information as well as someone who either owns or knows someone who owns a Freya 39 in the Pacific Northwest. I would really love to view one of these in person and have the chance to go inside to check out the headroom and talk to an owner about their likes and dislikes.
So far as i can tell this boat has all the characteristics that i am looking for in a boat [but, i don't know about headroom yet]. well, i don't actually know a lot about the boat yet as i'm looking for more information on them. there seems to be almost nothing via google or yahoo. i know they came in wood, steel and fiberglass versions. what i like thus far is the keel design, the canoe stern, the flush fore deck, the supposed heavy duty build quality, the speed for such a boat [estimated at up to 8 knots and has been known to do 200 mpd!?], and that the builder, Halverson, has a pretty good reputation as far i can tell so far.
p.s. i'd also be interested in looking at a Hallberg-Rassy "Rasmus" 35. so, if anyone owns one or knows someone who does and wouldn't mind letting me come aboard to check out the boat and the interior height i would be much appreciative.
p.s.s. with regards to the Freya 39, i am interested in looking at a flush foredeck model.
