I hung out on the Freedom email list for a while and here is one word of advice about buying any boat with a carbon fiber mast: if the survey turns up "cosmetic" cracks in the mast, the cracks in fact may or may not be cosmetic. They could be a whole lot worse. Only way to know how deep the cracks are is to x-ray the mast, which apparently can be done by some mobile thing. The Freedom list was full of stories not that long ago about a guy who bought an older Freedom with "cosmetic" cracks in the mast. He lost his mast over the side in conditions that weren''t all that bad. It turns out the cracks obviously were quite serious.
Otherwise, the 32 is a very popular boat. I''d ask this same question on the Freedom list and see what info you could find out.
I just got back from 10 days on the Chesapeake, otherwise I would''ve responded earlier. I felt safe knowing I had a tube of high-vac grease in my seabag.
